When we opened Antique Lemonade in February 2017, the vision seemed clear. As a gallery primarily focusing on photography, it was a fresh and exciting concept. We are proud of the fact that a place so young is finding its place in the Accra art space. Our sole purpose is to support and promote talent. Our doors are open to young creatives who do not get the deserved visibility, even when their potential is apparent. We invest in artistry - not exploit it. Currently, Antique Lemonade is a self-funded space. We are a space for creatives and artists to share their ideas and dreams with the support of a listening ear, encouragement and a platform to showcase their work. We are a place for young people to feel safe and be able to push the boundaries of their creativity. Wherever our next direction, our values will be the compass.
