I have always been enthused by the idea of pulling out snippets and moments of life and saving them in the form of photos. Traveling across the length and breadth of Ghana, I come across a whole lot of interesting scenes and get to meet different people from all walks of life.  

I love to capture and document these moments and the everyday lives of these people I encounter. I started out with just making images but lately, I love to draw out the candid stories which lie behind these faces I meet everyday. I have been doing this for a few months.

For now, I only make photos with my iPhone SE (‘which iPhone is that?”, the question I get asked most of the time). This is a very handy device and as such I’m able to make photos anywhere and at any time. 

This is my first time taking part in a photo challenge and I must say I am glad I did. I got to meet more experienced photographers who have been very resourceful.   

My entry is the image of a squeegee guy cleaning the windscreen of the vehicle I was in. Unsolicitedly, he starts cleaning and the whole adroitness with which he does this was what compelled me to make that photo.

I do hope to get a DSLR or a mirrorless camera and make more photos.
