Profile

I have been pressing the shutter button (as a photographer) since 2001, that was film camera days. I started photography by picking my Dad's camera from his wardrobe to school to snap my school mates.

My photography journey has been a good, if I may say. My first DSLR camera was Samsung NX10.  I learnt 70% of photography on my own and then help from other senior colleagues. I also used the internet and attending photography workshops to learn more.

I joined the Ghana Photo Challenge in the Phase 2 contest, with the theme: Hidden Beauty, but I couldn’t make it on top. I then decided to try again when phase 3 was announced.

I had a picture which I sent one to a friend to see and he encouraged me to enter it to the photo challenge. I did but that image was older and not shot during the period of phase 3 as required by the rules, so I was given the chance to resubmit a current image. I went out on the street to take numerous pictures and selected one as my favourite and here I am, a runner up. I am very grateful and I thank the judges and the organizers of the Ghana Photo Challenge for this great initiative to promote the art of photo creativity.
